Building This Community One Stream at a Time

When I first started posting gameplay and writing about it, I didn’t really know what would happen. I just knew I enjoyed gaming, writing, and documenting the process of learning things in real time.

There wasn’t some big strategy at the beginning. No huge audience waiting.

Just a camera, a few streams, and the idea that maybe people would enjoy watching the journey unfold.

And slowly… they have.

Getting Comfortable on Camera

One of the weirdest parts of this whole thing has been learning to be comfortable on camera.

At first, it felt awkward. Talking while playing, explaining what I was doing, reacting to things in real time. It’s a strange skill to develop.

Some days I still feel a little shy when the stream starts.

But when I look back at where I started compared to now, the difference is huge.

Streaming almost every day forces you to grow whether you want to or not. You start getting used to hearing your own voice. You get better at reacting to the game, talking with chat, and just being yourself while everything is happening.

It’s not perfect. It’s never going to be.

But that’s part of the fun.

The Progress So Far

This isn’t one of those posts where someone pretends they suddenly blew up overnight.

That’s not the story here.

This is steady progress.

Right now the numbers look like this:

  • 600+ followers on TikTok

  • 125+ subscribers on YouTube

  • 100+ followers on Instagram

  • 75 blog posts written

None of those numbers are massive.

But every single one of them represents a real person who decided to stick around and see what I’m building.

And that means a lot.

The routine has started to feel pretty natural too.

Most mornings I stream on TikTok.
Later in the day I usually jump on YouTube and stream again.

Not every day is perfect, but the goal is simple: show up consistently and keep improving.

The content itself has mostly centered around ARC Raiders lately.

Quest progress, exploration, figuring out mechanics, and occasionally surviving moments where everything in the game decides to attack at once.

Which happens more often than I’d like.

The Unexpected Part: The People

What I didn’t expect when I started streaming was the people.

At first it was just viewers popping in and out. A few comments here and there.

But over time something interesting started happening.

Some of those viewers stuck around.

Then a few of them joined games.

Now I’m playing with people I originally met through the streams almost every single day.

That’s been one of the coolest parts of the whole experience.

Gaming has always been social, but streaming adds another layer to it. People watch the journey, learn the game alongside you, and eventually become part of the gameplay itself.

It turns into this weird mix of streamer, teammates, and friends.

And that part wasn’t something I planned.

It just kind of happened.

The Vibe of the Streams

Most of the streams are pretty chill.

We’re usually exploring ARC Raiders, working through quests, figuring out mechanics, or just trying not to get wiped by whatever chaos the game throws at us.

Sometimes the streams are calm and relaxed.

Other times everything goes sideways and the whole lobby turns into complete chaos.

Those are usually the funniest moments.

There’s something fun about watching a group of people try to survive a situation that clearly wasn’t part of the plan.

And those moments tend to create the best clips.

A Small Community Starting to Form

Right now the community is still small.

But it’s loyal.

People recognize each other in chat. Some of the same names show up regularly. Inside jokes start forming.

Those little things are the first signs that something real is forming around the content.

Not just viewers.

A group.

And that’s really the goal behind all of this.

Not just posting gameplay, but building a place where people who enjoy gaming can hang out, laugh, and watch the process of building something from scratch.

What to Expect Going Forward

The plan moving forward is pretty simple.

Keep streaming.

Keep posting clips.

Keep writing about the journey.

A lot of the gameplay right now revolves around ARC Raiders. Especially working through quests and learning more about the game as it evolves.

But the bigger theme behind everything is the same:

Building something in public.

Figuring it out as I go.

Sharing the wins, the mistakes, and the moments where the entire game turns into chaos.

If You Want to Follow the Journey

If you enjoy gaming content, watching someone learn a game in real time, or just hanging out during streams, you’re always welcome to stop by.

The streams happen most mornings on TikTok and usually again later in the day on YouTube.

You can follow along across the socials or jump into a stream sometime and say hello.

The community is still small.

But we’re building it one stream at a time.
