My best friend built me a PC, and suddenly, I was obsessed with everything about it. I started recording gameplay, messing around with content ideas, and diving into the whole gaming business world.
And that was when I realized something; this wasn’t just a hobby.
I’ve always had this habit of turning hobbies into business opportunities. It’s just how my brain works. But until now, I never had a real plan for how to actually make it work long-term.

Most gamers massively underestimate how much money is actually in gaming.
The problem? There are too many options, so people assume there are none. It’s like when someone asks you to pick a movie, and suddenly, you can’t remember a single one that exists.

Ways to Make Money from Gaming (Even If You’re Not Cracked)
1. Content Creation (Streaming, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
The classic route. You make content, build an audience, and monetize through ads, sponsorships, and memberships. But let’s be honest, it takes time.
Start with affordable options like the Logitech StreamCam or the Blue Yeti.
2. Affiliate Marketing (What I’m Focused On)
You recommend gaming products (like THIS PC, ACCESSORIES, or even games) and get a commission for every sale. This is one of the best ways to make money passively over time.
3. Gaming Tournaments & Coaching
Not a pro? Who cares! If you understand strategy, you can coach. Or, host tournaments instead of playing in them and take a cut of the prize pool.
4. Selling Gaming Services or Digital Products
Things like custom overlays, coaching guides, training courses, or even ranking services for casual players who want to get better.
5. Building a Gaming Brand or Community
This is what I’m doing. I’m creating a platform that helps gamers learn, improve, and make money from what they love. Instead of relying on one thing, I’m building an entire ecosystem.
What I’m Actually Doing to Turn Gaming into a Business
Right now, my game plan is:

- Building a real, helpful brand instead of just chasing views

The Hardest Part So Far? The Website.
Building a website from scratch with ADHD levels of hyperfocus has been an experience. I loved learning it, but eventually, I had to admit defeat and hire someone to finish it. And honestly, that was a big lesson in itself.
I realized that, in both gaming and business, you can’t do everything yourself. You need to build a team, find people who are good at what you suck at, and focus on what actually moves the needle forward.
The #1 Thing That Holds People Back from Making Money in Gaming
Most people don’t believe it’s possible.
And I get it. It’s easy to feel like you’re too late, it’s too competitive, or it’s just not realistic.
But here’s the truth:
- More people are making money from gaming now than ever before
- The industry is still growing FAST
- If you’re consistent and strategic, it’s not a matter of “if” you’ll succeed, it’s “when”
How to Get Started Right Now
- Figure Out What You Actually Enjoy – Do you like creating content? Helping others get better? Running events? Find your lane.
- Slowly Start to Build – You don’t need to quit your job or grind 16 hours a day. Just start small and experiment.
- Be Patient & Play the Long Game – This isn’t about making $10 tomorrow. It’s about creating something real that pays off over time.

Honestly? I have no clue.
The gaming industry is changing fast, and I don’t know what opportunities will exist in 5 years. But I do know this is something I believe in, and I’m all in.
Right now, I’m just focused on growing, learning, and building something that lasts. Whether that’s through content, tournaments, coaching, or something else entirely.
