If you made it through My Last Post (without questioning my sanity too much) you already know why I started this blog. But, this isn’t just about gaming, business, and messing around; it’s about growth in every aspect of my life.
Because here’s the truth: I’m not just building a brand. I’m building a better version of myself as an entrepreneur, future husband, future step father, and person in general.
This is about taking the things I love, making them into something bigger, and making sure that while I’m building a business, I’m also becoming the best version of myself for my fiancee, for my kids, and for the community I want to create.
So, what does that actually look like?
Let’s break it down.
This post contains affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. But you know I only recommend stuff I believe in and actually use.
The Vision: A Place for Gamers, Builders & Personal Growth

The Internet is full of gaming blogs, business guides, and side hustle gurus selling $997 courses. But very few people talk about what it actually takes to build something while also becoming a better person in the process.
That’s where ChannlerG.com comes in. I believe Gamers already think like entrepreneurs and here’s why.
My goal is to make this site:
- A blog full of valuable and entertaining content
- A side-hustle/Gaming Community where people help each other grow
- A business, one that can scale and create opportunities for others
- A reflection of my personal growth as a father, partner, and entrepreneur
I don’t want to just focus on grinding for success and forget about being present for the people who matter most.
Building a business is great, but if you lose yourself, your relationships, or your mental health in the process, what’s the point?
That’s why, as I work on this brand and community, I’m also working on becoming a better man. Someone my wife and kids can look up to.
Content: More Than Just Another Blog
At the heart of this whole thing is content. Blogs, videos, guides, and whatever else makes sense as this grows.
But this isn’t just going to be about gaming and business. It’s also going to be about personal development, mental health, and family.
Some of the first things you’ll see here:
- Meaningful tips, setups, and breakdowns
- How to make money online through gaming and content creation
- Behind-the-scenes post about building this brand
- Balancing gaming, business, and being a great father and husband
- Mental health and self-improvement topics. Because if you’re not taking care of yourself, none of this matters.
There’s no one niche here. This is about growth in every part of life. As a gamer, a business owner, and most importantly, a person.
I rely on simple tools like my Selfie Ring Light and This Camera for content.
Community & Family Balance
This isn’t just about playing games. It’s about building an engaged community where people actually want to show up.
But for me, it’s also about making sure I balance that with my responsibilities at home.
- I want to build a community, but I also want to show my kids that you can turn a passion into something real.
- I may want to host big tournaments (maybe.. more on that later), but I also want to be present for my family, not just grinding 24/7.
- I want to help others grow in gaming and business, but I also want to make sure I’m taking care of myself mentally and physically.
That’s something a lot of people don’t talk about in gaming and business
- How do you build something great without burning out?
- How do you stay competitive while keeping your personal life strong?
That’s something I’ll be figuring out in real-time and sharing here as I go.
Skylight keeps the family schedule in check.
Monetization: Turning Passion Into Business (Without Losing My Mind)

Here’s the thing: I love gaming, and I love building things, but I also believe that if you’re spending hours doing something, it should pay you back.
This isn’t just a passion project; it’s going to be a real business. This is a continuation of how I’m building this brand.
Some of the ways I could possibly monetize the site and community:
- Affiliate marketing, recommending gaming gear, PC parts, and online tools
- Sponsorships/Brands paying to be part of future events.
- VIP memberships offering premium content, coaching, and exclusive access
- Ad revenue, once traffic grows, bringing in passive income through ads
- Selling digital products, guides, Esports training resources, Real Estate, marketing education and more.
The long-term goal? Build a profitable brand that creates value for others while still being something I actually enjoy doing, and improving the life of myself and my family along the way.
What’s Next: The Roadmap
This isn’t a wait-and-see project; there’s a clear road map for what’s happening next
Short-Term: Next 3 to 6 Months
- Publish consistent blogs, gaming, business, community, and family
- Build a social media presence for engagement
- Start affiliate marketing and basic monetization
- Grow an email list and a Community to stay connected with my readers
Midterm 6 to 12 Months
- Increase traffic through SEO and content marketing
Long-Term: One to Three Years
- Launch original digital products and courses for gamers and entrepreneurs
- Build a team and expand the brand. Beyond just my own content
- Make ChannlerG.com a known name in gaming, business, and self-improvement.
- Also, this could all change tomorrow, all I know is this project will last as long as I do.
This isn’t an overnight thing; it’s a long-term play. But I’m here for the grind, and I’m here to build something that matters, not just for myself, but for my family, my community, and for anyone else who wants to grow alongside me.
